The temperatures have been rising and we've got jungle fever! Although animal print has never really been out, lately there's been a resurgence of the classic motif in fresh new ways. In fashion, the trend has been spotted (no pun intended!) as a resounding favorite at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and as we turn more towards maximalism this season, interiors are following suit with animal print textiles and patterns. Contrary to the popular image of animal print being loud and ultra-glam (think Cruella De Vil), animal print can work as a neutral, setting the mood for an understated space that's layered in texture. Go bold by pairing with jewel tones such as emerald or sapphire, or keep it cool with black and white graphic contrast.
